Dialogue Guides
Dialogue Guides are models for conducting interactive discussions across stakeholders in States and districts around implementation of IDEA 2004. The dialogue starters for each topic were written in a collaborative cross-stakeholder process by representatives of national organizations affiliated with IDEA Partnership. These stakeholder organizations represent families, teachers, related service providers, administrators, and policymakers.
At the end of each dialogue guide you will find a list of the roles and locations of the collaborators who worked together to develop the guide. The stakeholder organizations have also created a Facilitator's Dialogue Guide to help you organize and conduct dialogue.
Select the regulatory topic brief for IDEA 2004 that you want to explore. Each topic brief contains a number of provisions. Provisions that appear in blue have been identified by the stakeholders as key provisions.
