Welcome!

The IDEA Partnership reflects the collaborative work of more than 50 national organizations, technical assistance providers, and organizations and agencies at state and local level. Together with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the Partner Organizations form a community with the potential to transform the way we work and improve outcomes for students and youth with disabilities.


IDEA Partnership Meeting
Beginning on the evening of Tuesday, January 17, 2012 and continuing through mid-afternoon on Thursday, January 19, 2012. The participants came together to envision the next phase of our collaborative work on two new tools: Assessments for the Common Core State Standards and the Behavioral Side of Cradle to College and Career (pending OSEP approval). Just released!
Common Core State Standards Collection
The content of this collaborative work on Common Core State Standards Collection was presented to the partner organizations by the Council of Chief State School Officers and the National Governors’ Association at a full Partnership meeting in January 2011. Following the presentation, 27 organizations, 11 states and 22 technical assistance investments held a dialogue about the needs of the field.  This Collection represents the first resources based on that work.
